Who we are
Two brothers, one shared conviction
The company was founded by two brothers, Baslel W. Ayele and Misgana W. Ayele, whose shared educational backgrounds in Computer Science, professional experiences, and entrepreneurial aspirations inspired them to establish a technology enterprise dedicated to innovation and problem-solving.
Building on their complementary experiences, the two brothers transformed their shared aspirations into a business venture and formally established Menna AI PLC. The company’s leadership subsequently expanded with the involvement of their father, Workineh A. Yami, who joined the founders to provide leadership, organizational direction, and strategic management.
This combination of technological expertise, professional experience, entrepreneurial initiative, and leadership perspectives provides Menna AI with a foundation for developing a responsible, innovative, and sustainable technology enterprise.

Baslel W. Ayele
Co-founder
Graduated in Computer Science from Addis Ababa University in 2025. Alongside his academic preparation he developed a strong interest in entrepreneurship and technological innovation. His professional experience at iCog, a software company, strengthened his focus on software development, business innovation and the opportunities offered by emerging technologies.

Misgana W. Ayele
Co-founder
Graduated in Computer Science from Hawassa University and earned a Master of Science in Data Science from Addis Ababa University in 2020. His professional experience includes the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, where he gained exposure to the practical application of information technology within a major financial institution.

Workineh A. Yami
Leadership & Strategic Management
Joined the founders to provide leadership, organizational direction and strategic management. He brings an interdisciplinary background spanning biblical studies, Christian ministry, management, leadership, theology and peace studies.
